Friday 5/5/06 - 32 Days Post Surgery

10am: I had a good night and I woke up more flexible and in less discomfort than did yesterday. Megan came by and worked all the areas that were tight or cause sharp pain in the normal range of motion. Now I really am sore, which is to be expected.

5pm: I decided that another activity would keep me focused and busy so that I wouldn't overextend myself. I bought some beads, stones and other items to make earrings. It should also stimulate my creative energies and help to keep me from getting 'down' because I think my recovery should take less time.

I walked around the condo complex without my cane and became fatigued and weak before I was half way around. I cut though the middle of the complex and came home.

8pm: Can you believe it... I'm can't stay awake so I'm going to bed. Today I'm sure it has to do with Megan working me over. It does feel good while she is doing it and I will be more flexible tomorrow or Sunday.
