Sunday 4/23/06 - 20 Days Post Surgery

7am: Good morning world. I slept relatively well last night. I still wake up every 3-4 hours and need to change my position and take 1 more Percocet. But both times I went directly back to sleep without a long delay.

1pm: Most of my day is still spent indoors doing activities that are best done while sitting. I'm encouraged by what I am able to do, but tend to do too much if I don't remind myself that my incision, muscle and bone is still healing from the surgery. In addition to that my muscles are working hard to rebuild. All of this takes quite a bit of energy. That seems to be my theme this week.

7pm: I went for a good long but slow walk with the aid of my cane. It was beautiful outside and I really enjoyed myself. Now, however I don't feel like doing anything else. I'm relaxed and pleasantly tired. I'm sure I will go to be early.
