Who Why How   Brief Overview   Weekly Summary   Daily Summary   Read Journal   Thursday 4/20/06 - 17 Days Post Surgery 7am: Good morning world. Pain and stiffness present, but very low compared to the first 2 weeks. 11am: I've done my exercises and walked a half mile today with my cane. I'm feeling good. Megan, is due to arrive in 15 minutes for my physical therapy, so I'll write more later. 8pm: It's now much later. I've had a great day. Megan worked on my muscles, tendons and ligaments. I'm gaining flexibility and range of motion, but some areas are still not a flexible and pain free in as great a motion as my non-surgical side. Megan also studied my gait walking, going up and down the stairs, and using the cane. Each is improving. Chuck and I met some friend to listen to Jazz Thursday's at Park Place Mall. We did this last week also. Last week I fatigued easily after walking 100 yards. This week I walked significantly further though the mall and didn't fatigue or feel pain. The music and friends were pleasant also. |
