This is the basic route of our travels We flew into Madrid Spain and out of Amsterdam Netherlands. We had intended to travel further south into Morocco, but we were in Sevilla when, during the first few weeks of the Iraq war the Peace Corp  pulled all of its personnel from Morocco citing safety. We think that traveling in foreign countries is safe, and expect the U.S. State Department to issue warning which doesn't limit us. However, when the Peace Corp removed their people we gave that weight and decided not to travel into Morocco this trip. We headed west and back north.
