Bicycling

The previous and only other time I have been in the Tetons was in 1989. I fell in love. I would consider living here except for 2 issues. It gets to be minus 50 degrees in the winter, which in my way of thinking is prohibitively cold. The second issue is that housing is as expensive as San Francisco! I will continue to visit and taste its delicacies occasionally, just as I would a rich food.

We bicycled from Coulter Bay on Jackson Lake to Jenny Lake. On the return trip we lock our bikes by Leigh and String lakes and hiked along their shore.

I met a woman while renewing our campsite. "I'm 40 and I'm aloud", she said with a smile.

"I'm 50, enjoying it and aloud also", was my reply. She was with a group that couldn't believe that I was 50 and still active. The asked how I did it. My reply, "JUST KEEP DOING IT and DO NOT STOP". The let me know that I inspired them.

In addition to bicycling, the area is perfect for kayaking, hiking and backpacking. We're prepared to take advantage of all four.
