Cathedral & Plaza
IMAC Spanish Immersion Guadalajara Cathedral

We spent the day checking out 3 schools. We liked the 'feel' of IMAC and enrolled for 8 weeks of class study and home stay with a family. The school has a written curriculum and class size is small. After making that commitment we walked around the Central Plaza.

A group of guys tried to pull a scam on us.  From my perspective it went like this... We discovered that there was something that looked like bird shit on Chuck. After a minute of looking at the mess and then up in the trees a many approached and offered to show us where there was water. I was following and observing... more men came closer and acted surprised and started to direct us down some stairs. I yelled, "STOP!!" and insisted that Chuck come back to the hotel room and clean up there. I suspect that once we got to the underground bathroom we would have been robbed.

We cleaned up, congratulated ourselves on being astute and promised each other that next time we would be even more aware.
