Cycling From Florida to Niagara Falls (spring 2002)

1st Night in Georgia

Day 10 - 65mi - Hostel In the Forest - Brunswick, Georgia

It was a long beautiful ride on US17. Either the winds died down or the trees were blocking them. Either way it was a great day to cycle. We made good time. I was a little weary but not exhausted and I was getting stronger after being on the bike every day for 10 days.

We had read about Hostel in the Forest Brunswick Georgia and Chuck wanted to stay there so we pushed on. It was a little difficult to find but we didn't pass it and have to backtrack. We hadn't made reservations because we didn't know which day we would arrive and they were full. It all worked out well though. One of the employees gave us her private room. It was a wonderful place. I would recommend it for anyone traveling through that area.
