Food Along the Way

Day 45 - 60 miles - St. Thomas, Ontario

Not only was it unseasonably cold, it snowed.

The farms are clean and picturesque. The trees have not started getting their leaves even though it is now the latter part of May. But there are tulips everywhere. I absolutely love tulips. They appear even more brilliantly colored than I am used to seeing because of the contrast with the grey of the weather.

This store had home made peanut butter cookies and home made mushroom soup. We ate the soup there and took cookies for the road. Everyone is very social.
