Enoch, Our Guide

We hired a guide to trek with us through the highlands south of Pokhara. His name is Enoch and he is the shop owner's brother where we rented a sleeping bag. We asked him to take us on a trek that would show us the Nepal that most tourists never see. I am delighted. The mountains are magical, the people mystical and the vistas serene.
